VIBRAFLOOR FOR BIOMASS SILOS OF PORT OF TYNE

Talking about the centerpiece of a large scale wood pellet handling facilities at the Port of Tyne in Northeast England, Andrew Moofat, CEO of Port of Tyne said : « we have been innovating processes, procedures and systems for the handling, storage and transportation of wood pellets since 2009, when we built the first facility, and even now we continue to research and develop improvements for effective handling of this material” (Wood Bioenergy – April 2017).
So, it is important to underline that the 3No 45m diameter silos built at the Port of Tyne will be equipped with a Vibrafloor reclaim system. The vibrating floor installation will begin before the Summer 2017.
